Bus Access Buses to/from Halifax Bus Station to locations near Wainstalls
Wainstalls to Moorfield Farm
1) Start opposite the building called Heights and by the bus stop in the middle of Wainstalls village. From there walk north along the road.
2) At the road sign called Castle Carr Road turn right over the stile and head uphill to the stone wall. Here turn left by the waymark sign and follow on the left of the wall uphill.
3) Pass the buildings on your right and turn right through a farm gate. Go diagonally across the muddy yard and field to the stile ahead.
4) At the stile join the Calderdale Way
Moorfield Farm to Wainstalls
1) Where the road bends round by farm buildings at Wainstalls turn off to the waymark link sign.
2) Follow the path diagonally across a small field and muddy yard to metal farm gate. Turn left here and follow to the right of the wall until a waymark sign.
3) Turn right on the path here to the road at Wainstalls. Turn left into the village where you can catch a bus to Halifax town centre during the week.
